Introduction
This site is initially a place where I share my findings
about Replica Star Wars costuming....When I get more exposure
to the field of Prop-Making, I shall post it here for all
to see.
I started out buying a "Trooper" armour suit
in kit form...without speaking to anyone else before I bought
it...
BIG MISTAKE!!!!
Not knowing the pitfalls of buying armour, I bought, and
was very happy with my new Stormtrooper gear. Then the guy
that sold it to me recommended that I join the UK Garrison

so I did. It was then that I found out that the armour I
had bought was definitely not up to scratch. Not by a long
chalk. Ironic that the very person who sold it to me, linked
me up with the very people that showed me the error of my
ways!
The guys at the Garrison were exceptionally helpful, and
I have many leads to improving the armour to a respectable
state (This Armour turned up with Thimbles for the two aerators
at the front of the helmet!! Very cheap....Very nasty!).
I hope that this site can, and will help people who are
considering buying armour (Stormtrooper mainly for now....write
about what you know and all that).
